BIG MECHAS READY FOR TAKE OFF!! -Patlabor Mobile Police -

We are getting closer to the wild dream that Pacif Rim brought forward.

In 2011 we posted about a possible Gaiking live action movie in the making, however between then and now only Guillermo del Toro brought us men-piloting-robots, with the gigantic Pacific Rim, yet there is still something we are longing for....Mecha anime series getting the live action. 

2014 seems the year of the answer: Patlabor Mobile Police, the 80's popular anime is getting a movie adaptation. YES IT IS REAL!!!

Most exciting Mamoru Oshii, one of the original creators of Patlabor and probably still best known for Ghost in the Shell, is in someway associated with this film.
